What is your earliest memory of watching the WWF? What year was it, where did it happen? My earliest was when I saw Hogan vs Jake Roberts at the Providence Civic Center in 1986. I was five years old and I had my Hulkamania tshirt on. The crowd was really into the match. I remember everyone stompng on the steel stairs for Hogan.

I remember seeing Royal Rumble 1990 first. I was over my friends house and just thought it was the coolest thing. That got me hooked and then I went back and watched tapes of what I missed like Piper's Pit and all that classic stuff.

I watched my first wrestling card ever at my neighbours place. It was WWF's Wrestling Spotlight. Most of the matches consisted of 'legitimate' superstars like Killer Bees and Young Stallions taking on no-name jobbers the likes of Iron Mike Sharpe, Dusty Wolfe and Terry Gibbs. I specifically remember the match between Ricky The Dragon Steamboat v Butch Reed. Slick had pulled Ricky, causing the Dragon to give chase on the outside. My neighbour imitated Ricky and started running round the house doing similar gestures. After that, I was hooked. Started buying magazines and began renting tapes. Never looked back since.

I think my earliest memory was either Hulk Hogan's Rock n Wrestling cartoon on a Saturday morning in 1985, or it was a Saturday Night's Main Event the same year. Maybe they were both on the same day, I don't remember all these years later. But I do know it was in '85 and it's kind of blurry now, but I distinctly remember watching the cartoon every Saturday morning and watching SNME in '85.

Its too bad they didnt use the actual wrestlers' voices for the cartoon. It would have been a lot better.
